Why choose NViro.ph?

NViro is the only paint brand in the Philippines that has been awarded with the Green Choice Eco Label. Green Choice is a “voluntary, multiple criteria based, and third party program that aims to encourage clean manufacturing practices and consumption of environmentally preferable products and services[1].” This program is administered by the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI), a non-stock, non-profit and non-government organization. Green Choice is overseen by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

For paint products, Green Choice upholds stringent criteria aimed at ensuring human health and safety, environmental preservation, including reducing the industry’s effects on climate change. These criteria are also aligned with other international standards, such as LEEDS and Green Seal. There are three major components of the criteria: (a) heavy metals, (b) VOCs and (c) titanium dioxide. For a product to comply with Green Choice’s standards, samples are tested every three years for specific chemical contents, and must not go beyond a specified limit per chemical.

A Green Choice Eco Label certification means NViro is the only paint product that truly passes the health, safety, environment and climate change criteria of an authentic Eco-friendly paint.

NViro paint system delivers 30% cost savings

One of the implications of NViro’s compliance to rigorous Eco-friendly standards is that the composition of NViro products is different from traditional paint products. Because of this, the wall application of NViro products also differs from conventional processes. The NViro topcoat does not require the traditional applications of primer and putty. Instead, NViro uses another innovative product called NViro Seamcoat that reduces the number of procedures prior to topcoat application. This delivers a significant reduction in labor costs, project time and cost of materials, averaging 30% per project.

Going back to the market segmentation table in page 4, even though the price per gallon of NViro is P200 higher than the traditional medium-priced latex paint brands, it is actually cheaper by 30% when viewed from a project perspective.
